Intervention Overview
Your facility dog deserves a spa day! Your patient can practice their fine motor control by painting the nails of the facility dog using pet-safe nail polish. If your patient likes to paint their own nails, this is a fun alternative ADL training activity.
Patient Instructions
Patient set up in front of facility dog, with access to paws
Use pet-safe nail polish and paint facility dog’s nails

Position facility dog on therapy mat or table in front of patient
